Hi there!
Welcome to Swim with Kyler!
I’m Kyler, a National Lifeguard and Instructor-certified swim coach entering my third year of teaching lessons.
I build personalized lesson plans for ALL ages and skill levels. No boring, one-size-fits-all approach—just fun, effective lessons that help you feel confident in the water. Let’s make a splash!
^ Please read my “About” page for more important information.
Lesson options for all swimmers
45 Minute 1:1 or 2:1 lesson - YOUTH
$40/lesson
My standard booking, ideal for new swimmers, or swimmers with some experience in lessons. Parents of children 1-3 yrs are encouraged (but not required) to get in the water with their children.
This is a fully private lesson, but siblings of similar skill level are welcome to take this lesson together.
Note: My lesson price will not change if siblings are in the same lesson, price is per lesson, not per student.
45 Minute 1:1 lesson - ADULT
$50/lesson
This one is for those of you reading who aren’t yet as comfortable as you’d like to be in the water. I promise you, it’s never too late to learn how to swim, so if you’d like to just improve your technique, or are completely new to the water, sign yourself up! I’m certain that you’ll walk away from this experience extremely proud of yourself.
The Learning Environment
Located in Bronte Village, Oakville
Enter through the side gate directly into the beautiful backyard, where all my lessons will be offered. A bathroom and outdoor changeroom are available. Plenty of seating near the pool for parents, or in a shaded gazebo on extra hot days. A trampoline, swings, etc. are available for children to use while waiting for their lesson.
Please note that parents are not required to stay during the lesson block, but are more than welcome to if they’d like. I encourage parents to limit interactions with their child(ren) during the lesson in order to limit distractions.
The pool:
Shallow and deep end (deep end will be partitioned with a lane rope for less experienced students).
Always keep very warm ~85°F, (10°+ warmer than public pools!).
Stairs & ladder for easy access.
